MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of S. C. Beasley’s new book, THE RUMBLE - THE DOG TALE SERIES (Book One), ($14.99, paperback, 9781498454223; $7.99, e-book, 9781498454247) fictional dog characters take the reader through a firsthand view of the struggles and raw emotions experienced by two rival gang leaders – as well as a host of other involved characters when the two opposing forces face off for an epic battle. The story engages the book lover with glimpses of harsh reality through unsavory and noble characters bringing tangibility and life to many everyday issues facing today’s society and especially youth. The unique quest and adventures within the pages bring clarity and understanding of the emotional lure and pull into the darkness of the gang life. The Rumble breaks through the blinding labels often associated with gang members and enables the reader to see the broken individual, for only then can there be an honest and unbiased effort to effect healing and give hope to all damaged by this bleeding wound in society. This book opens the door of diversity in an approach to inspire conversations and collaborations on a deeper level of commitment with individuals as well as communities.

My book is a great deterrent for youth and young adults teetering on the edge of danger,” states the author. “More than a captivating, emotionally riveting, and fun fictional read, The Rumble takes the reader deep inside matters of the heart bringing some clarity and insights into a perplexing issue.”

S. C. Beasley’s own childhood consisted of violence in the home. In her early teen years she was affiliated with “The Devil’s Daughters”, a small local gang of a girls.
