The author stresses that no one has taught such an interpretation – let alone an extensive evaluation – surrounding the temple prior to this book.
This very special SECOND REVISED EDITION provides new features including consideration to two 500 x 500 long-cubit squares that have come to the author’s attention since publishing the original book in 2013. One is located in Jerusalem's Temple Mount and the other in America. The first is the so-called “Ritmeyer’s Square” found in Jerusalem’s Temple Mount by the celebrated archaeological architect Leen Ritmeyer. This book discusses his square in relation to Ezekiel’s prophecy. The author also became aware that the famous 1638 city plan of New Haven, CT, has similarities to a 1604 European study of Ezekiel’s Temple, and in particular its central square (today’s New Haven Green) measures 500 x 500 in Ezekiel’s long cubits. Evidence of interest in Ezekiel by New Haven co-founder John Davenport is discussed. These thought-provoking discoveries enhance an already powerful discussion in this book.

Emil Heller Henning III was born in Boston in 1946, educated in the Baltimore Public Schools, and holds A.B. and Master of Architecture degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. He worked one summer in graduate school for a Boston firm that pioneered “way finding” concepts to help people navigate subway systems and sprawling building complexes. While there he assisted in the design of orientation maps and signs for a campus of over 100 interconnected buildings. For three years he was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, after which he worked for architecture firms in North and South Carolina. He is today a Registered Architect in South Carolina, where he has a small architectural practice and serves as a Ruling Elder at Second Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Greenville, S.C.
