MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Bill Hyer’s new book, Ears to Hear, ($17.99, paperback, 9781498465434) readers will encounter the very words of the Lord Jesus Christ that reveal His desire and will for their church. The mission of this book is to listen to what Jesus says to the seven churches of Revelation so as to identify the qualities and characteristics of the kind of church He wants so they can live in His manifest presence. By understanding what Christ says to each church as well as the attributes He reveals about Himself that are relevant to that church, readers will discover ten qualities of the kind of church Jesus wants and how they are to live in relationship with Him, one another, and the real world we live in. Readers will gain profound insight into the Scriptures that will deepen their understanding of Lord Jesus Christ, self, and the values He desires them to have. They will find key principles for such things as healthy relationships, communication, dealing with fear, the pressures of stress and conflict, and, most of all, how to live for Christ the way He wants.

Ears to Hear presents the message of listening to what Christ actually says to His church. In this passionate and hard-hitting book, the reader will find a high degree of Biblical insight with impressive commentary and dynamic personal application. Each chapter has a Study Guide with 12 questions for groups. By hearing and heeding Christ’s words, individuals, groups and churches will be encouraged to be the kind of people and the kind of church He wants so they can impact this generation for the kingdom of God in these challenging days.
