MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Cory Cabri’s new book, When I Grow Up, ($16.49, paperback, 9781498472722; $8.99, e-book, 9781498472739) readers will meet a young man who went through many obstacles while desperately seeking to grow up. On his way to adulthood, he realized the key to growing up was growing past obstacles. This fictional story is based on the author’s true struggles in life that with the help of God, he overcame and matured.

From the time he was 5 years old, growing up was all that Timothy Wiseman aspired to do. At that young age, he encountered obstacles that would dictate how his future life would unfold. He strived to grow up to overcome bullying, a lack of support, unfair rules, and constant ridicule from being a part of the Ganes family. Striving to reach what seemed to be an unattainable goal, he became bitter and rebellious. He was destined for destruction until he encountered a force in Yeshua (Christ Jesus) whom he was unable to move. He accepted that Yeshua was the best force so he submitted his life to Him. Yeshua taught him the true meaning of growing up was to overcome obstacles.

After reading my book, I hope the readers see how God maneuvers through our lives to bring us closer to Him and discover they can overcome if they choose to follow God's guidance,” states the author. “My mission is to be a witness unto the truth and When I Grow Up sheds light on the truth of God for both the believer and unbeliever.”

Cory Cabri is an ordained minister of the gospel. He was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas and is currently living in Houston. He works for a major oil and gas company in a mechanical design engineering role. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He gives the majority of credit for writing this book to God, who brought him through the struggles revealed in this novel. Through his writing, God established Cory as a mouthpiece or minister of the Gospel. He encouraged him to be a witness unto the truth, which is explained in this thought-provoking story.
