MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Mary L. Starks’s new book, A Stranger In My Bed, ($11.99, paperback, 9781498456951; $5.99, e-book, 9781498456968) readers will read a true story about the author’s life and her encounter with the spirit world. Although the events in this story may sound fictitious, they are very real scenarios as they happened to her. Through Mary’s firsthand experiences, readers will see how the power of God can move within a person’s life when he or she finally stop running and submit to His will.

“I want the readers to understand that spirits are amongst up and they are real,” states the author. “Sometimes we wonder if our family and friends live on or where do we go once we pass on? I hope that my readers understand that just as sure as there are spirits that dwell the earth there is also a higher power that controls everything we do and say. Always believe that God is the almighty who can do anything. We must understand that God will not put more on us then we can handle. However, if we have the FAITH the size of a mustard seed, then God can and will move those mountains out of the way.”

Mary L. Starks grew up in the small town of Sylvania, Georgia. The people in her life were very religious and always spoke of spirits and demons. Some folks even talked about witnessing people walking down the street and then vanishing into thin air. Mary explains that it was always said that Sylvania, Georgia – as well as the more popular Georgia city, Savannah – was the vortex of the spirit world. In other words, Sylvania was alive with the energy of the dead. There were many rumored stories told about the dead roaming the city streets and dirt roads throughout the little town. Originally, Mary was not a believer of such things. Although she was and is still very religious, she didn’t believe in the dead roaming the earth to find souls to possess. However, in the spring of 1966, her world began to change. Her doubt about spirits and demons began to reveal a truth that she would never forget. This book reveals her powerful and shocking truths.
