MAITLAND, FL— Andon Elsa Black’s new book, BATTERED BUT NOT BROKEN - Confessions of a Battered Beautie, ($12.99, paperback, 9781498448970; $6.99, e-book, 9781498448987) is a true story and compilation of situations that left the author scarred and overwhelmed, yet empowered to create an organization that promotes women as “Battered but not Broken.” Readers will meet the character named Beautie – a woman whose beauty is not measured by attractiveness, but rather by an increased amount of confidence, love, and faith. This empowering book focuses on life moving forward in a favorable direction with a faith-based twist. After molestation, physical abuse, a teenage pregnancy, and chapter titles such as “Big Booty and a Smile” or “Making Love”, readers will easily get addicted to the drama in author Andon Elsa Black’s life. She candidly reveals her truth about being a Battered Beautie and the effects on her relationships, respect, and religion. Married for nearly a decade, Andon Elsa’s unforgettable journey is impressive as it defies stereotypes, and her composure gives inspiration in a brutal but brief way, while acknowledging that even Jesus was a victim and battered. She encourages all females to understand that they no longer need to live stressed and overwhelmed. This book will empower all readers past abuse, financial hardship, disease, divorce, addiction, loneliness, and anger.

Be cautious of living a life that allows past situations to dictate your current joy or future moments,” states the author. “Embrace that you are battered but not broken. This will help you have a greater love for yourself with increased peace and faith.”
