MAITLAND, FL— Christopher R Benfield’s new book, PULPIT PAGES - Joseph: Bitterness, Betrayal, and Blessing, ($13.99, paperback, 9781498476072; $6.99, e-book, 9781498476089) studies the life of Joseph to provide hope and encouragement to the discouraged while challenging them to keep the faith and follow the divine leadership of the Lord. The author shows how even though Joseph faced harsh challenges, his commitment to the Lord was not unrecognized or unrewarded. The study of Joseph’s life will speak to readers and provide guidance as they journey through life and the difficulties associated with it. Benfield stresses that through difficulties, faith needs to be strengthened to make each Christian more like the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of his relationship with the Lord, Joseph left a lasting legacy for his family and future generations. Benfield believes that all Christians can do the same.

I hope readers will find strength and hope to continue on for the Lord, even in the face of adversity, knowing He is aware of our situation and able to help in times of need,” states the author.
