MAITLAND, FL— Lydia Joy’s new book, God's Princess Forever - Discover Your Royal Identity & Reach Your True Potential, ($9.99, paperback, 9781498461580; $20.99, hardcover, 9781498461597; $4.99, e-book, 9781498461603) motivates young women to discover their royal identity and recognize the gifts/talents they were blessed with, so they can reach their true potential. Readers will meet Gracey, who dreams of a prince like the ones in her fairy-tale storybooks. Frequent bullying by a classmate leads Gracey to put her hopes in a friend to be her real life prince, expecting him to come to her rescue. However for Gracey, her crown prince was not there when she needed him. Her loving parents step in and teach her about another prince, her Savior God who will never abandon her in any situation.

This story shares a parallel to real life when a woman’s fairy-tale perception may be carried out into adulthood, causing a woman to be disillusioned of her own self-worth and unaware of her gifts/talents. The author explains that when searching for Prince Charming, a woman fails to discover herself and never reaches her true potential. She is left yearning for love and waiting for this prince of which she has unrealistic expectations, instead of enjoying God’s perfect love and calling on the all-powerful Savior to intervene – and using her own gifts/talents to conquer whatever situation she faces. Lydia Joy has a creative way of engaging the reader to uncover the truth through the life-changing answers Gracey obtains to her curious questions. The characters in this book are displayed in brilliant colorful illustrations that will keep the reader engaged and eager to turn each page.

Through the curious mind of Gracey, the main character of the story, who girls can relate to, I hope to convey to the reader/hearer that she doesn’t have to pretend to be a princess – for she is a uniquely beautiful true princess – the precious daughter of an everlasting King,” states the author. “As God’s princess forever, she is destined to reach her true potential because she is uniquely created with talents/abilities meant to be used for His glory.”

Lydia Joy has a passion for God, people/children, teaching, sports and art. Her creativity was noticed from a young age, when her classmates nominated her and another student as the “Most Creative” in her class. She earned an Associate’s degree in Dental Assisting, a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. In addition to being an Entrepreneur/Founder of www.GiftedRoyalty.com, Lydia also teaches at a local college. Her inspiration for this children’s book came as a result of hearing other people’s negative self-talk and doubt in their capabilities, including some of her own students. Lydia compliments her students and they sometimes act surprised, as if nobody ever told them they had real talents and real gifts. She said encouragement, along with a better realization of where each person stands in life, should help others reach their full potential.
