MAITLAND, FL— Thomas C. Davis’s new book, Revelation - Its Historical Fulfillment In The First and Fourth Centuries, ($26.99, paperback, 9781498474566; $9.99, e-book, 9781498474573) proves that the visions of Revelation can be clearly understood when readers view it through the lens of past historical events. He explains the contemporary view of Revelation is that John's visions portray futuristic events centering on the Lord's Second Coming, the end of the world, and heaven. However, examining verifiable historical events that happened in the first and fourth centuries, clearly show that the Revelation visions have already been fulfilled in history.

This new book is not another speculative futuristic vague interpretation of end time events. It provides credibly substantiated, already fulfilled meanings to John's visions by the historical events that already transpired. The author accurately gives readers a clear, logical interpretation of the book based on historical fact and scriptural truths.

The mystery of the Book of Revelation disappears when it is viewed backward rather than forward,” states the author. “Interpreting Revelation with futuristic speculation leads to confusion, error, disappointment, and frustration, that the book is not understandable in our lifetime. However, watching God work in first and fourth-century historical events which fulfill the visions of Revelation removes this mystery and confusion.”

Davis brings over twenty-five years of research in Jewish, Roman, and early church historical writings to uncovering the historical events that correlate to the visions of the Book of Revelation and thereby, the accurate, extensive writing of his outstanding book.
