MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Javier Estrada’s new book, Little Girl In My Dreams – This Wasn’t Happening, ($13.99, paperback, 9781498453769; $6.99, e-book, 9781498453776) readers will be captivated by a fictional story centering in the subconscious mind of a teenage boy abandoned by the world. As the young boy ages, he is continually obsessed with ending his life through suicide. After many years of planning, he attempts his suicide mission in a lonely hotel room. As he lays in a deep coma in the hospital, his caretaker’s verbal encouragement to live, combined with a visit to a heaven-like world with a little girl, prompts the boy to wonder if there is more life for him to live. But was this real? It’s an emotional and unforgettable story with an inspiring message to all readers – a book that no reader will want to put down until they reach the very end of the story.

If we can save one individual from suicide, we have accomplished our mission,” states the author. “My book will take you from a depressed state – to realize there is much more to life ahead of you – a life worth living for.”

Javier Estrada considers himself a living example of post depression. He wanted to end it all. He became a Paramedic and eventually worked his way up to Fire Chief and Police Officer. In his career, he has investigated many cases of teen suicide. Every time he encountered one of these cases, it took him right back to his teenage years and his own bout with depression and suicidal thoughts. Javier accomplished his dreams to the fullest, asking God every morning for guidance.
