CharLeda Greene’s experience working for a veterinarian catapulted her into the world of rescuing animals. Her love of purebred Persians, and the fact they had difficulty getting homes through shelters, inspired her to open the doors of Persians Plus Rescue. From there, she rescued domestic cats, dogs, rabbits, and rats. For many years, she operated the rescue through two pet stores and watched God’s action in finding homes for them on a daily basis. Each story in her book – the first book in a delightful series – is unique and very true.
The author is paying it forward by donating 25 percent of the net proceeds of this book to animal rescue work on behalf of the rescue animals that created these stories, and another 25 percent to fight child hunger on behalf of the children reading the stories.
