MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Eleanor A. Daniel’s new book, Call Me Teacher, ($18.99, paperback, 9781498478465; $9.99, e-book, 9781498478472) readers will be amazed at the author’s personal testimony – a detailed glimpse into the course of the author’s life from her childhood in rural Illinois to the places she has traveled to the positions in ministerial authority she has held. Besides being recruited into positions never held by a woman before, the author has seen God move within people and also in His guidance of her life: a testament no one will be able to deny.

I hope my book helps readers to gain respect for teachers and teaching,” states the author. Through my experiences, they will also witness to what God has done to one person's life.”

Here’s what others are saying about this powerful testimony:

“It would be difficult to imagine how any one person could do more in Christian ministry in one lifetime than has Eleanor Daniel. From service in local congregations to teaching and administrating at the college and seminary level and to cross cultural mission service in countries around the world, her achievement is extraordinary.” – C. Robert Wetzel, Chancellor, Emmanuel Christian Seminary

“The Queen of the Deans has preached and taught on three continents, traveling in fourteen different countries (when return trips are added, the total comes to about thirty-five mission trips outside the United States)!” – Dr. Bruce Parmenter

Eleanor A. Daniel is a retired professor and minister living in Urbana, Illinois. She knew from the first grade that she wanted to be a teacher. During high school, she felt the Spirit directing that desire toward the teaching ministry of the church. She followed this leading that led in unexpected directions, even to the shadow of the Kremlin. She taught for two years in a church kindergarten and forty years in higher education. She has served as education minister, children’s pastor, youth minister, and minister of adult education in congregations in Illinois, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Tennessee for twenty years. Her teaching career led her to ten foreign countries to teach. She has also served as a Dean and on accreditation teams for the Higher Learning Commission and the Association of Theological Schools. She has degrees from Lincoln Christian University (B.A. and M.A.), the University of Illinois (M.Ed. and Ph.D.), with additional work at Central (OK) University and Christian Theological Seminary. This is the sixth book published by Eleanor.
