The author knows what it means to overcome obstacles. At the age of 17, an unfortunate car accident led him to encounter a new existence he never would have expected: life as a quadriplegic.
 
Sadness, anger and uncertainty filled his early days in the hospital, until he saw others in worse situations than his own. He was then determined that he did not want to live his life in bitterness and negativity. He chose to seek God to change his perspective toward his situation. This led him to quit his debilitating drinking habit and to write this inspiring collection of fundamental principles.
