MAITLAND, FL—
Bonnie Louise Newhouse’s new book Carved On The Palm
of His Hand ($20.99, paperback, 9781498497947; $9.99, eBook, 9781498497954) shares
that based on our individual choices, God will orchestrate and use the
circumstances in our lives to mold us into vessels He can use. As the subtitles
in each chapter refer to the seasons of life listed in Ecclesiastes Chapter 3,
each season we experience, whether welcome or painful, is an integral piece to
our unique puzzle and will be used by God not only to shape us to match His
vision and purpose for our lives but to reveal Himself more clearly.
Living in a culture of victimization, this
book offers inspiration and hope for facing life challenges.
Newhouse writes, “In a culture that feeds
on sensationalism, this work is a homespun conversation igniting the sulfur on
the match providing an instant flame for introspection for the reader. The fact
that it is an honest telling of her story, yet written without exaggeration in
a non-grandstanding manner makes it refreshing. The book is intrusive, yet
inoffensively thought provoking, expounding on the understanding of having been
created by design for a purpose greater that self-glorification.”
Bonnie Newhouse retired from Disability
Network Northern Michigan as the office manager and accountant in 2015. She
attended Lansing Community College, Michigan State University, Northwestern
Michigan College and earned her accounting degree from Ferris State University.
Bonnie's authorship encompasses extensive, in-depth research articles for
public presentations and incorporation into others' works. The Newhouse’s have
been married for 51 years, have four adult children and reside in Traverse
City, Michigan.
