Book Draws Parallels Between Nazi and Liberal Agendas

2017-12-31

MAITLAND, FL— Though author Edna Hong has passed away, editor Ingrid Williams has thrust this inspirational book back into print and into national dialogue. Bright Valley of Love, ($13.49, paperback, 9781545615911; $6.99, e-book, 9781545617854) tells Gunther’s story as a neglected and handicapped boy taken to Bethel charitable institutes in Germany where he finds love, worth, and purpose. His harrowing tale is set against the backdrop of post-WWI depression and the rise of the Nazi party. When Hitler’s euthanasia program against the feeble in WWII is uncovered, Bethel and Gunther enter into a great struggle for survival and triumph of the value of all life.

Bright Valley of Love is critical for the educator, the policy maker, the social worker and everyone that draws breath in a culture sold out to political correctness,” states Williams. “Since no one likes to be lectured and a picture is worth a thousand words, this true story is worth a thousand debates in the public square to communicate truth that can lead to self-awareness. The application for today is that ‘altruistic’ liberal policies promoting abortion, euthanasia, and physician-assisted suicide are just the old Nazi agenda of oppression under nicer-sounding labels. All men have value because they are created by God in the image of God, the rejecting of which idea will destroy not just the weak, but our whole social fabric.”

As a teenager and college student, Ingrid Williams was an atheist and worshipped science.

At age twenty-four, she became a Christian because she was persuaded by many infallible proofs of its truth. After her education and beginning career in biochemistry and biomedical science, she had the privilege of living and serving thirty-five years in a Christian community—a mini-Bethel—walking with the weak, handicapped, and distressed.
