A book's success can be measured in a variety of ways, whether commercial, critical, or personal. Sometimes merely having a book published, and having achieved completion of the writing, editing and publishing process can be considered a success. Generally, however, a book's success will be derived from the content of the published manuscript. That said, book design is critically important to whether or not a book sells. While commercial success is just one measure of success, the goal of all published authors is to have their book sell and be read. Book design consists of several distinct processes. First, the book cover will be professionally designed by our award-winning book designers. Each book cover is a custom creation and we are always happy to consider and implement the suggestions of our authors. Before going to print, our authors will also see a mockup cover design that they approve. Multiple cover designs are also available for an additional fee. Our book design process also entails layout and composition of the work, whereby we will take your MS Word file and professionally compose and typeset the interior pages of the book. Again, final approval is in the hands of the author.

All books are printed on high-quality acid free paper and have laminated book covers to maximize the appeal of the book cover design. Binding styles and trim size is also in the hands of the author. We can publish your book in paperback, hardcover or provide copies in both formats. There are multiple trim sizes to choose from, so the book design process is a collaborative process in which the author has input at each stage.
