Book Summary
It has been estimated by many that 80 percent of believers have little or no knowledge of what is in their Bibles. Could this be because we "don't see the trees because of the forest"? Can it be that we lose the beauty of each Scripture verse (tree) because of the totality of the Bible (forest)? This Manual strives to bring out the beauty of each "tree" (God's Word) so it becomes alive in the spirit of answer-seeking believers. It is hoped that this work has served God's purpose. Since many believers do not know many of the 7,500 promises that God has provided for us in His Word, how can they stand fast in faith on them? This Manual seeks to open up more scriptural answers to believers who are seeking peace, contentment, and victory in their walk with the Lord. Luke 17:5: "Increase our faith."
Author Profile
Almost immediately after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, Bro. Ray began memorizing Scripture verses, without knowing why. After depositing four hours of verses into his "spiritual memory bank," he knew he was being prepared for a Christian counseling ministry. This led into a live, call-in, one-hour radio program as a ministry outreach. The memorized verses poured out of the "bank" in answer to the subjects called in by seeking believers. Some months after the radio show stopped airing, it moved in Bro. Ray's spirit to put this Manual together. The Manual presents the various subjects along with applicable verses and comments from the author. This Manual became the second main reference source for a similar program, which just ceased airing this past July. Of course, the main reference source was the Holy Bible. This has been aimed at bringing Galatians 5:1 alive in the life of believers: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
