Ruth Hollon grew up in the Appalachian Mountains. Her father was an alcoholic; therefore, her family lived in poverty. She was abused by her father physically, mentally, verbally, and emotionally. She lived in bondage most of her life, even after being married at the age of seventeen. Then one day, she got very sick and couldn't get well. She needed a miracle and received it.
