Dorothy Lyons, known in this book as Darla, is the daughter of Carrie. She has many years of experience as an administrator in the medical and business worlds, and has served in both Christian and secular organizations. She has a love for music and has written several songs, played leading roles in musicals, appeared on Christian television, participated in local church programs, and sung with various musical groups over the years. Her love for writing is just coming to fulfillment. Dorothy and her husband have four children. They taught their family to love God and realize the importance He plays in their lives on a daily basis. Dorothy has written this book as a tribute to her mother, whose story is unique, but also to demonstrate how God rewards us, here and now, for our faithfulness to Him.Her goal is to help those who may be struggling with life issues and thinking that by wrong choices they made, now they have nothing to look forward to in this life.
