Book Summary
NOTHING PREPARES YOU FOR LOSING A SPOUSE! ONE DOOR SLAMS SHUT! WITH GOD'S HELP, ANOTHER OPENS. Motor Home Grandchildren Cross-country Come along as we pile into my 32-foot motor home to follow the Oregon Trail, some Minnesota and Wisconsin trails, and our grand finale, the Lewis and Clark Trail. The trails always start peacefully with great excitement and anticipation. Then the real-life stories and trials commence. Join us for the high of white-water rafting to the low of a non-functioning air-conditioner in 100 degree heat as God guides me to form my "new life." Reading this wacky woman's adventures with her "adorable" grandchildren will enable you to develop an I CAN DO IT attitude also.
Author Profile
Being an RN experienced with death and dying, a former Sunday school teacher, a Girl Scout leader, as well as Mom and Grandma, were not enough to prepare Betty Marchon for losing her spouse and building a "new life." Her deep faith that God would surely help her open another door kept her plodding ahead one step at a time, frequently presenting more confidence than she felt. Now living in Florida, Betty works part-time as an RN and continues to thrive on travel with adults as well as her younger grandchildren. Reading, needlework, singing in the choir, and quilting are also joys.
