ELOUISE MATTHEWS, a wife and mother of three young adults, has a poetic passion for the word of God and puts in print blessings for the family. This Christian educator, teacher/writer, parent/teacher workshop facilitator, Reading Specialist, Reading Recovery Teacher, Writing Consultant, prayer intercessor, home Bible study/meeting host, tutor, holds a Master's Degree in Education (Southeast Missouri University) and a Bachelor of Science in Education (University of Central Arkansas). She is passionate about families working together to succeed in Literacy. She was the Developmental Education Coordinator at East Arkansas Community College for six years. She has done additional study at the University of Virginia, George Mason University, James Madison University, Marymount University, Shenandoah University, in Reading in the Content Areas, Writing, Connections in Math and Science, and Word Study.
