Author Profile
A love for a good story, a deep understanding of God’s extravagant love for people, and a strong feeling that I had an important message for this generation, were my motivations for writing this book. I grew up in a warm Christian family, the youngest of four children. After one year at Northwestern Bible School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I married Dale Golding. Together we joined the Far East Broadcasting Co. Inc., a radio mission to Asia. I have experienced more than 48 years as a missionary wife and mother of four children. We have served in the Philippines, Singapore, Okinawa and Thailand. This gave an Asian flavor to my writing. I taught women’s Bible studies, and did cross-cultural counseling, in response to letters written to radio programs. After 48 years with FEBC, we are now retired.
