ASBURY H. WILLIAMS, M. D. is a Christian physician who is now semi retired. He was born in a small South Carolina town where his mother began taking him to a Baptist church when he was an infant. He attended Furman University, when it was a Baptist supported college, and gradated with a BS degree. He met his wife, Peggy, at Furman and they have been married for 47 years. He is also a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina. Asbury and Peggy are very active in Timberlake Baptist Church where they both teach Sunday School and sing in the Choir. Both of them are ordained deacons. Asbury is the back up choir director and has served as choir director in 3 churches. They have 3 children - Hamilton, Laura, and Suzanne - and 4 grandchildren - Jay, Lee, Ashton, and Logan. Their home is in Myrtle Beach, S. C. Asbury can be contacted at drasburymd@aol.com.
