Shawna Bedal lives in Chandler, Arizona with her family of seven. Life is nowhere near perfect, but joy and happiness swell the walls of their home. However, it didn’t always look that way. To escape, Shawna found solace in reading. In the hours of night, while her world slept, she discovered an intimacy with God through journaling. “My first writings were more like pleas from my heartache, which evolved into prayers, poems, and thoughts from the books I read by day. The written word became my passion as God infiltrated my life. The hunger and thirst for God could not be extinguished, but only fed.”
