GERLINO Robale PAELMO, is overwhelmingly and greatly, abundantly and richly been blessed. He was born and raised in Paete, Laguna, the Lanzones town and the Woodcarving Capital of the Philippines. His close friends, relatives and family call him, GERLIN, but his shipmates and buddies call him, GINO.
Happily married to Ana Maria “Annie” Flores Chavez, of Virac, Catanduanes and Concepcion, Baliuag, Bulacan and they are entrusted and blessed with their three children, Alexa Ann, and the ‘amazing twins’ Paolo Gino and Carlo Gino. The three are their God given real pride and joy. Their true and real motivation, their deep, driving, sincere, sacred and divine encouragement. This is the way the Paelmo Family works and functions, Annie is the point guard, Alexa is the shooting guard, Paolo is the power rebounding forward, Carlo is the strong shooting forward and Gino is the point center. Simply put, and that is them, the winning Team Paelmo line up. A highly favored and richly blessed A-Team.
He love arts and music and enjoy ballgames; most specially basketball, tennis and football; an average bowler and a mediocre billiard/pool player but an enthusiast, and as long he enjoy playing and being challenge, he will thrive. A passionate basketball fan, an avid shooter, dribbler, hoopster and a free throw fundamental perfectionist. An amateur photographer, graphic, creative and visual artist. His favorite television show is Jeopardy. He enjoy and share nature with his family and close friends, the vivid wildlife and the great outdoors. Snorkeling and scuba diving, a serious swimmer and still a part time sailor and adventurer, an avid camper and a strong camper, after he retired from the United States Navy.
He deeply and sincerely support the United States Navy’s core values: HONOR, COURAGE & COMMITMENT. This, according to him, should be the national motto and it is his personal shibboleth, along with his DUTY to his GOD, to his FAMILY and to his COUNRTY. He believe that the Gift of Family, is one of the many never ending cornucopia of God’s blessing and gift that should be kept sacred and unblemished, intact and united.
