Shebra Gathers-Collins is a very dynamic woman and a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose Holy Spirit gifts inspire her many endeavors. Among her many talents and gifts, “Lady Shebra”, as she is called, is an author, singer, teacher, counselor, inventor, and entrepreneur.
Shebra Gathers-Collins is a devoted wife and co-laborer in ministry with her husband, Bishop A. James Collins, to whom she has been married for over 37 years. To this union the Lord has given the Collins family three children, an adopted daughter, and eight grandchildren.
Shebra suffered with Lupus Disease for 12 years. Throughout the time of her suffering, she never ceased to apply the wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God to her life. In addition, she sought and discovered the wisdom, help, and understanding of the Holy Spirit, who brought her victory. As a result of her trust in the Lord and allowing herself to be led by and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, Shebra Gathers-Collins has been healed and made whole.
In this book, Lady Shebra shares her journey to inspire and give hope to those fighting incurable diseases. A heart transplant recipient who is now enjoying excellent health, Lady Shebra shares her story of hope with her readers. Her desire is to enjoy life while she fulfills her divine assignment on the earth (Psalm 118:17).
Lady Shebra’s greatest joy and sense of accomplishment comes by lovingly serving her family and also by leaving a spiritual foundation as their inheritance.
