This book addresses some questions God's people have about prophecy. It is especially for those who are in denominational churches and don't have much knowledge about this anointing or those in charismatic churches that have strong traditional standards.

It's my desire that you develop an understanding of the ideals that surround hearing the voice of God. It's not my intent to come against any denominational beliefs, but rather to encourage you to grow in your ability to hear God's voice. Through practical examples, examination of the Word, and prophetic activation exercises, you'll be increased and released in a new way. I believe many of the misconceptions and myths that surround prophecy will be cleared up.
Jimmie Reed was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana. At 28, she married and had four children.
Jimmie gave her life to the Lord at the age of 24. She became an assistant minister in a church in Oklahoma City, where she completed the School of Ministry. She later received a degree from Christian Life School of Theology.
Jimmie was ordained by Pastor Dutch Sheets of Springs Harvest Fellowship and Bishop Bill Hamon, president and founder of Christian International Apostolic Network of churches and ministries. She received her master's degree and doctorate in practical ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute.
Her travels within the U.S. include such cities as Phoenix; Dallas; Panama City, Florida; Oklahoma City; Boston; Newark; Baltimore;Washington, D.C.; and Santa Fe, New Mexico. She's also ministered in Singapore,Norway,Malaysia,Nigeria, and Korea, speaking on a wide range of topics.
Jimmie is the senior leader at Christian International of the Rockies in Colorado Springs and the founder and president of Eagles International Leadership Training School and School of the Prophets. Jimmie has made appearances on local Trinity Broadcasting Networks and Daystar Networks. She can be seen on a local weekly television program called Your Day of Breakthrough, preaching about what God is doing today in His people.
