He and his wife, Amy, have three children - Anastasia, Zoe, and Noah-Andrew and reside in West Des Moines, Iowa. Steve and Amy are very active in their church, where Steve leads a weekly discipleship course. Steve is a magazine publisher and speaks to various ministries and organizations in his spare time.
