Patricia Jackson Allen was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Raised in a culture that said "children are to be seen and not heard," Pat found her voice in the pen. Her father was a Literature Evangelist, which means as a child she traveled a lot. This afforded her the opportunity to see life through many different lenses. She is a single Mom and has one adult daughter, Tricia Nicole. Currently residing in Altamonte Springs, Florida, Pat serves as an Associate Treasurer of the Southeastern Conference of 7th day Adventists located in Mount Dora, Florida. She has served the church for 37 years.
