Ronald T. Beck: RUN TO JESUS - Encouragement For Bruised Reeds
Book Summary
When families are loving they give each member support and
encouragement. But when families are not loving they create neglect
and abuse. The hurts of neglect and abuse invade a person wounding their
personalities, robbing them of potentials for growth and fulfillment. The
wounded personality does not believe that God loves them. Their spiritual
growth is frustrated and stunted.
The author came from a family that neglected and abused him and he
found that walking to Jesus wasn't fast enough-he had to run. He found
that pushing all the hurts down didn't work and fighting it alone was futile.
Only one thing worked and that was to Run To Jesus.
Jesus said he will take extra care of Bruised Reeds. But the Bruised Reed
must respond to his invitation to, "Come." As you read this book you will
find fresh insights in old concepts and you will find a whole new potential
in your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Christ Jesus."
