    Book Summary

"There's nothing wrong with not knowing who your best friend is. You've always been very selective in the people you get close to, so where others may have a dozen friends, you've always had only three or four at a time. But those three or four always got the best you had to offer," his mom said. "That's not why she was making fun of me. I did know who my best friend was. It's always been you," he said. Has Stephanie lost touch with reality? Why can't she recall what happened between her and Jonathan? This is the story of the strong bond that builds between a mother and her son. It's the story of love and friendship that grows deeper with each passing year. They share a closeness and a bond that can survive anything, or so they thought... Perhaps telling her story to an old friend could help uncover the clues necessary to answer her nagging question - What happened to her best friend? It will keep you guessing up until the final page!
