    Book Summary

Depression is running rampant nowadays, and even the Church has not been able to escape its insidious attack! Latest statistics paint a disturbing picture among Christian leaders in regard to this serious problem. Surveys of pastors reveal that 80 percent of them, and 84 percent of their spouses, deal with depression on a regular basis. If this is true among leaders, what must the situation be among the followers! Too many believers are turning to mind-altering substances for help, when they actually have the definitive answer lying at their fingertips-the written Word of God! Dr. Finnigan has personally walked through the "slough of despond." In this book, he delineates both the causes of depression and the remedy. It is designed to help believers overcome the spiritual paralysis of depression. There is a way out of the dark!

For over twenty seven years, Bill has held pulpits in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and has spent forty five years actively engaged in the ministry of changing lives through the teaching and counseling of God's Word.
