Bernitha Washington is an Elementary School Teacher. Bernitha is currently employed as a First Grade Teacher. She has been teaching in the public school system for 32 ½ years. She has served in the following capacities: ⢠Team leader for Kindergarten and First Grade ⢠Cooperative Teacher for interns from the University of South Florida ⢠Peer Teacher for first year teachers ⢠Served on Math, Science, and Language Arts Committees ⢠Currently Chairperson of the Social Club and member of the School Wide Project Bernitha is also a member of the 11th Street Church of Christ, where she is a Sunday School Teacher. Her passion of teaching is exemplified in a biblical way by encouraging people to gain insights and knowledge into the mysteries of the Bible. She is a granddaughter of the late Bro. Jesse Davis, an old pioneer preacher of the former Worthill Church of Christ.
