My book covers a season of high expectation and vision for ministry for my husband Terry and me. That is the plus side. The negative side came in the form of overwhelming disappointment, loss, and brokenness along with a nagging sense of failure. I came face to face with the harshness of stress and its debilitating effect that compounded my problems. The Lord came to our rescue in unpredictable ways and turned pain into gain. Loss was not the end of the story after all. He used the season of brokenness to teach me more about Him, myself and others - and how the enemy attempts to use circumstances to defeat us and rob us of our destiny. Myra’s teaching ministry has spanned more than 30 years. She has had the privilege of speaking in many different venues including church Bible classes, women’s conferences, radio ministry and television appearances. Her teaching provides insight into the Scriptures and encouragement in the believer’s walk of faith. She shares a relevant word for the times in which we live. She and her husband, Terry, reside in Winston, Georgia.
