Betty Dilday, a busy homemaker, Bible study teacher, and popular conference speaker has served with her husband as pastor's wife, seminary president's wife, and university president's wife. She has visited mission sites and participated in Baptist World Alliance meetings on every continent. In addition to her experience as a public school teacher, Mrs. Dilday has been president of the Southern Baptist Minster's Wives Conference and is a member of the Commission on Church Leadership in the Baptist World Alliance. A graduate of Baylor University, she holds a master's degree in religion from the B.H. Carroll Theological Institute and has done additional graduate study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Georgia State University, and the University of Georgia. A proud grandmother of six, she lives in Dallas, Texas where she teaches a Sunday morning Bible class and participates in several mission projects in Park Cities Baptist Church.
