William Templeton in his book, Understanding Genesis endeavors to present the historical facts, genealogies, and lives and actions of six great men of the faith in clear, applicable, and understandable terms. Arranged in a unique way around the “times” of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, this book takes the reader through Genesis identifying the plans, purposes, and principles of God and relating them to modern man living in modern times.
William Templeton has been pastoring churches for more than three decades. He is married to the former Bonita Arlene Irby. The Templetons have four grown children, seven grandchildren, and counting. William Templeton attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1969 through 1972. He then transferred to what is now Liberty University where he majored in pastoral studies and theology. For thirty-eight years, Bill has been studying Scripture in an effort to bring the word of God to every person in a clear and understandable fashion.
