Book Summary
I was born and grew up in Center Ridge, Arkansas and lived in Pilgrim community for a short time. I graduated from Northeast High School in Oklahoma City, OK.
I graduated from Oklahoma State University, and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a degree in nursing.
I have two daughters and sons-in-law as well as seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson. I retired after 24 years as a registered nurse.
I love living the country life in Solgohachia, Arkansas.

Rita Galloway is a retired Oncology Registered Nurse. She became involved in preserving the cemetery and the history of Pilgirm community in 2007 and organized Pilgrim Cemetery Preservation Association. This book is an effort to capture the rich history of a once vibrant community where her maternal great-grandparents and grandparents made their home.
