Curtis E. Nester is a retired pastor and lives at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. He and his wife, Louise (a quilter) enjoy kayaking on the beautiful lake, near the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. He continues to teach Bible studies and preaches whenever the opportunity arises. He previously authored Faith Will Keep You Afloat, a book about water, and people involved with it in the Bible.
