“Our sister, may you become the mother of many millions! May your descendants
be strong and conquer the cities of their enemies.” Genesis 24:60
Have you ever noticed the similarities of the blessing pronounced over Rebekah before she became Isaac’s wife and that of the Abrahamic Blessing?
Have you considered God’s choices of the women He allowed to minister to Him and represent Him in some of the most important events in His Story, the Bible?
Have you taken time to notice how many verses of Canonized Scripture are spoken by women?
Are you confused by Paul’s presumed restrictions on women’s roles in the New Testament church?
Have you wondered how you, as a woman, can effectively minister in your God-given gifts and callings?
Are you horrified by the oppression and abuse of women around the world?
If so, then ‘Rebekah’s Blessing’ is a Bible study written for you, focusing on what God’s Word says about women’s roles in ministry.

For over thirty years God has given Teri Powell the opportunity to live and work with women from diverse cultural backgrounds, ethnicities and religions around the world. Her concern for women, especially those who have been marginalized by the world, false religions and sadly at times even the church, continues to be the focus of her ministry. Teri and her husband, Erik were pioneer missionaries in tribal Mexico for more than two decades. Teri has been a pastor’s wife, Bible study teacher and sought-after speaker. She is currently the Director of Women’s Ministries for Scriptures In Use International, a ministry focused on training oral culture women to effectively present the Gospel through the oral arts of storytelling, drama, dance, poetry, and song in some of the most closed to the Gospel and restricted countries in the world.
