“Oh God, thou art my God; early will I seek
thee: my soul thirsteth

for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry
and

thirsty land.…”
Psalms 63:1, King James Version

While walking in the early mornings, I sought
the face of God.
I needed to know his direction for my life.
I searched for it through various things,
thinking I would find it;
I did not. It was not until I began to read,
and meditate
on his Word, that I found it.
As I set aside time for him each morning, he
met me.
He was waiting on me.
The things he revealed
to me are reflected in my poetry.
