Caught between two worlds, Beverly Wrenfro was on her own from childhood — or so she thought. Her pain and rebellion and fighting spirit led her into a downward spiral of drugs and unhealthy relationships, until the day of an accident that killed her friend and sent her to the edge of death...
… and back to the land of the living, with questions and a hunger for meaning and purpose in the life that had been given to her as a precious gift.
God had spared her life for a purpose, but it would take more years of searching and growing, of pain and anguish and struggle, until Beverly acknowledged that divine claim on her life. God had given her a mission and a duty that couldn’t be derailed by more bad choices, betrayal, and abuse at the hands of those who should have cared most for her. Even the prejudices, lies, and power games inside the Church itself could not squelch what God had put inside her, waiting to be born.
