The River of God is our source of life and abundantly affords everything we need and more; it flows from the throne of God and throughout the pages of the Bible, from beginning to end. When we open the doors of our lives to God we experience the Living Water that is full of His light, life, love, and so much more than we can even imagine, or contain. When we accept the gift of Salvation we are immersed in the River and become connected to Him and the Body of Christ around the world. Then we can let the River flow in and through us to change lives and see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. When we are full of Him the River will spill over into those around us; this is God’s plan for each of us. He pours Himself out for us to not only help us walk in our true identity as Christians, but also to help others get in the River, be filled with Him, and to flow in His plan for their lives.
The River poured out in Ezekiel 47 and throughout the Bible beckons the reader to draw closer to God. He is our source! When we are in the River we are in Him and we can have the abundant life God preordained and Christ died for us to have. When we say; “yes,” to Jesus we can see His plan and promises come to pass in and through our lives.
