Radical Terrorism a Cultural Norm for Those Raised Under Islam
Author claims Qur'an is counterfeit akin to The Da Vinci Code

LONGWOOD, FL-Centuries ago Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus proclaimed that Muhammad's "command to spread by the sword the faith he preached" was "evil" and "inhuman." Those words encompass the prevailing negative attitude of Muslims toward the Bible. Author Abbas Sundiata's book, Look Behind the Façade ($21.99, paperback, 1-59781-755-4; $33.99, hardcover, 1-59781-756-2), dispels the myth that Islam is an Abrahamic faith and reveals that only the false and sanitized version of the religion is paraded in the free world.

Says Sundiata, "Modern Muslims disparage the Bible because it makes Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, a liarÑnot because the Qur'an says anything negative about it. On the contrary, the Qur'an awards the Bible the same accolades it awards itself and says clearly that the word of Allah (which it says includes the Bible) cannot be corrupted or changed."

Orthodox Islam is the force driving today's terrorism, and Sundiata's mission-to discredit it in a logical and intellectual way-will hopefully quench the fire of hate and death it has unleashed. Terrorists and "radical Islam" are the comparative norm, he asserts, though the revisionists urge people to believe that these are the acts of crazed fanatics who grossly misunderstood the words and actions of Muhammad. They are not, nor are the teachings of Islam peaceful or truthful.

Says the author, who was born, raised, and married into a predominantly Islamic community, "Islam is not the noble faith it is often said to be. It is a counterfeit, with a deceptive agenda and contents much like that of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code." For those who fail to see the harm in a little white Islamic lie, Sundiata cautions against Islam's deceptive allure.
