Vision of Godly City in Dreams Leads to Unusual Book
Young housewife offers new insight into God's love

LONGWOOD, FL-There's a shimmering city in the sky not often seen by human eyes. It has nevertheless been built and is being developed more each day. Its sole purpose is to show the profound love between Christ and His people. A place where the only light comes from His face, this city is inhabited by saints and sought after by sinners. It's a place where fear dies. Take the journey with Amy Fleming's The City of Our God: A Vision of Love (paperback, 978-1-60266-595-8), the true story of a young housewife who had dreams and visions of God's kingdom almost every day.

"This is a prophetic dream showing the love of Christ and His Church," says Fleming of the book's unusual premise. "I hope [readers] will gain a new perspective on what a delight it is to be loved by God."

The journey began when the author was visiting a dear friend. She was praying when suddenly she felt the presence of God hit her in unbelievable realness. She was introduced to a vision of a city on a hillside, and these visions continued for three months. Every night she would be shown His heart in the secret place of her dreams. Her goal in sharing these dreams is to give readers new insight into how much God loves them. "After all, this dream is yours as well," says Fleming.

Amy Fleming was born and raised in St. Augustine, Florida. She now makes her home outside of Charleston, South Carolina. She is married with two children. She holds a degree in education and teaches part-time.
