Annihilating Strongholds of Sexual Immorality
Author turns her back on a life of 'darkness'

LONGWOOD, FL-Cherise McKinney was all set to marry her life partner when, without warning, "God delivered us both." A former lesbian and self-described personification of darkness, the author believes her liberation from a life of immorality was enabled by GodŐs saving grace. She documents her story in From Darkness to Glory, "The Satanic Darkness of My Old Life" ($13.99, paperback, 1-60034-234-5). Says McKinney, "I am a living witness of the power of God in my life and an example to all of what is written within the contents of this book."

Sexual immorality is a game of tug-of-war in today's society. By destroying strongholds of sexual immorality through God's truthful words, McKinney believes we can become His ordained vessels and purify ourselves in Him. She's pioneered Save-A-Soul Ministries solely for this purpose. The evangelistic outreach program provides deliverance for those struggling with immoral relationships. Her book evokes strong, passionate themes that attest to God's healing power.

Cherise McKinney was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from Harold S. Vincent High School in 1989, she attended Milwaukee Area Technical College before entering Christian ministry in January 1997. In January 2000, while serving at Bethel Deliverance Center Church under Bishop Montclair M. Brown, she was ordained and licensed to preach. In 2003 she established The Temple of The Most High God, a nondenominational house church in Milwaukee where she is the presiding senior pastor alongside her mother overseer, Helen McKinney.
