Biblical Solutions for Women Battling for Survival in Marriage
Retired Army sergeant offers help and hope for touchy marital issues

LONGWOOD, FLÑMarriage is challenging, no matter how compatible two people might be. Often marriage is a battlefield where spiritual warfare is waged on a daily basis. Author and retired Army sergeant Deanetta P. Thompson addresses issues that arise in today's marriages, offering God's solutions to counter the self-destructive human solutions we are often prone to seek.

Short Devotional Stories for Married Women Who Battle... ? (paperback, 978-1-60477-036-0) will take you into the lives of married women facing life and death issues in their marriages. Melinda and Charlotte both wanted to murder their spouses, one for greed and one for emotional damage. Melinda committed adultery and received a death sentence. Marla struggled with drug abuse only to find out that God is the only way. Scriptural guidance and biblical solutions gave these women hope and a reason to go on. "God's Word can help with any problem we face today," says Thompson. Daring to address some of the touchier marital issues women face, Thompson says that that no matter what kind of challenge you're up against, God's Word has the answer. You must simply stop long enough to understand what that answer is.

Deanetta Thompson retired from the U. S. Army after twenty years of active duty. She is a graduate of Regions University, where she received a B.A. in Biblical studies, and she is pursuing a Master's degree in management at Liberty University.
