Supernatural Thriller Pits Angels Against Demons
Author's strategy of war has eternal consequences for spiritual battle

LONGWOOD, FL- A new supernatural thriller by up-and-coming author Jerry Stordahl, Turpentine's Soul (paperback, 978-1-60266-600-9), takes a quantum leap into the netherworld, featuring a cast of characters that includes angels and demons. In the story, the minefields of Keegan TurpentineÕs past are about to explode. Not long after losing his son, Turpentine discovers his murderer. Turpentine's passion begins to rule, but two angels have not given up hope on him. Despite the fact that dark forces are vying for his soul, the angels struggle to fulfill GodÕs plan for his life.

"God used angels in Scripture as couriers and helpers, as instruments of deliverance and as destroyers. Why not today?" says Stordahl. "People are interested in the supernatural realm because God created humans as spiritual beings in physical bodies."

From a very young age, Stordahl knew God called him to write. After a vigorous "refining process" during which God healed and changed his heart, Stordahl was able to embrace his destiny. "It is interesting to note that God used my interest in physical weapons to move me into the writing arena via published articles on accuracy, firearms, and related equipment." Similarly, Stordahl's book grapples with warfare and weaponry of a different nature though no less significant. Says the author, "Too many people fail to realize the war is supernatural in nature. I am a warrior of God's kingdom because writing is a strategy of war."

Jerry Stordahl lives with his wife, Marilyn, and two children in rural western Minnesota.
