Lutterodt also turns to Titus 2:3-5, which asks older women to be reverent and teach God's ways to the younger women. She believes that the young woman's virtue and value lies in her purity, which is so precious and priceless and must be preserved until properly married. She writes that women have been charged with the task "to be women of noble character who will demonstrate the principles of wisdom in the home, and to remain holy and pure in their lifestyle"
As a young woman, Lutterodt experienced the pain of making a lot of mistakes due to lack of knowledge. Her experiences and testimonies have given her valuable lessons that she is eager to share with both young men and women; mothers and fathers. Lutterodt believes that sacrificing one's purity will cause pain and separation from God, but this book will equip and empower women to remain in their true calling upholding the values and moral integrity of womanhood and to prepare young men/women for godly relationships.
Dr. Kate Love Lutterodt believes that her difficult past was a preparation for her current ministry to women. With a doctorate in clinical pastoral counseling, Lutterodt is an evangelist,[ordained] licensed minister, temperament counselor, and a certified 'women ministry' leader. She has been able to speak to many women through conferences and her television ministry, both in Ghana and the United States. Dr. Lutterodt's daughter, Eva B. Oppong, joins her in authoring The Virtuous Woman and as a vice president of The Virtuous Woman Counseling and Outreach Ministry, which Dr. Lutterodt founded.
