Author Administers Test Prep for Our Eternal Exit Exam
Book encourages readers to be prepared for the inevitable

LONGWOOD, FL—Every human being needs to be reminded that we all have an appointed time to leave here and that we will be judged and ushered into an eternal abode. It is up to each individual to decide where that will be. Leon Hardnett’s Are You Getting Prepared for Your Exit Exam? ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-60791-039-8) is a book that will encourage both students and adults about the necessity of being prepared for the inevitable. No one is exempt from being tested both in the physical and spiritual life, thus the author hopes to focus on both in order to warn readers of the consequences one will suffer if there is a lack of preparation—failure.

“[I hope] that the readers will realize this book has a twofold purpose,” the author says. “[It] addresses standards that are set up and imposed by man for children, and [the other purpose] is established to God and applies to all mankind. The one major difference between the two is that the high school exam can be repeated if you fail it the first time, but when you stand before God, it’s a one-time thing.”

As a resident of Louisiana, a state that is ranked 49th on a scale of illiteracy, poverty, and corruption, Hardnett is just one example of something positive that can result from that type of environment. “I can only speak as an outsider regarding exit exams in the schools because they weren’t around when I was a student, but I believe that about 90% of my class graduated,” the author reflects. “I got input from several students who experienced the exams, and as a result I was able to offer some suggestions that I believe would be helpful for others who would follow.” Utilizing this knowledge, the author included both the academic and spiritual accountability issue in his book via a dramatization that will hopefully portray the gravity of each as much as possible.
