LONGWOOD, FL-After working with preschool children for more than two decades, Rawya Boctor chose to follow God's direction for her life. She put her career behind her and started focusing on what she felt God was calling her to do. Her book, He Took Care of Me (paperback, 978-1-60034-929-4), tells of life with her beloved husband and three children facing countless trials and struggles, and their experiences with God's love and guidance along the years. As Boctor encountered each obstacle with God's help, she learned to trust more in the promises of His Word. She emerged a new woman, molded into a treasure by the hands of God.
Says Boctor, "I am a woman of God with a lot of shortcomings, yet He made me great. He loves me unconditionally and brought so much healing to my life that made me fall in love head over heels with Him. I want to tell the whole world about my experience so they too [will] taste and see how sweet my Lord is."
The conversational narrative varies between the autobiographical and instructional. Boctor features ways to cultivate the treasure inside each of us, including how to accept the call to follow God and study His Word. The down-to-earth discourse on what happens when we follow God's directions also offers hope to readers who lead a tough life. Says Boctor, "When we follow His directions, we will live life to the full like He intended for us."
Rawya Boctor's current mission work is centered on founding schools in the Third World for underprivileged children. She developed a high-tech program for Christian Children Educational that is being used by many of these schools. She travels overseas twice a year and has put together a team to help train and equip hundreds of teachers to better educate children.
